2023 marks the third consecutive year for the national proptech economic impact report authored and published by Proptech BNE. with the support of our leadership team, Industry Council, and valued partners. Launching in 2021 as the Australian Proptech Industry Map and continuing under that name in 2022, the Report has provided a national benchmark for the growing Australian property technology economy. It provides tangible insights that allow us, as ecosystem supports alongside peak bodies, investment firms, programs and governments to maximise the economic performance of proptech, and guides how best to support continued industry growth.

For 2023, the Proptech BNE. leadership team and our Industry Council have decided to rename the annual initiative to the Australian Proptech Economic Impact Report. We feel this rename more clearly articulates the report's purpose.

The Australian Proptech Economic Impact (APEI) Report exists to create an annual benchmark for the economic performance of the growing technology vertical and provide keen insights for any company looking to better understand, participate in or support the Australian proptech economy. On behalf of Proptech BNE., we sincerely thank our partners, community and participants of the 2023 Report for their continued support and trust in delivering this initiative.
